What benefits can Accor Platinum members enjoy?
- Executive Lounge Privileges: Accor Platinum members are entitled to free breakfast in the Executive Lounge, which offers superior quality compared to regular guest services. They can also take advantage of “Happy Hour” in the afternoon. If the hotel doesn’t have an Executive Lounge, members receive free breakfast regardless.
- Suite Upgrade Rewards: Accor Platinum members can enjoy at least two suite night upgrades per year. With every additional 18,000 points, a third suite upgrade becomes available. For every 4,000 points after that, an additional upgrade can be earned, up to a maximum of 12 suite upgrades per year.
- Faster accumulation of points: Platinum members can collect more points than lower-level members for the same amount of money spent. Accor points can be used like currency, which will be explained in more detail below.
- Other benefits include room upgrades, welcome drinks, early check-in, late check-out, and more.

Accor Platinum members enjoy numerous benefits, but as you might expect, upgrading to Platinum isn’t easy.
Typically, you need to stay in an Accor hotel for over 60 nights or spend 5600 euros to upgrade successfully. This can be challenging if you’re not a frequent business traveler.
Accor Plus Fast Track Activity Details
As an Accor Silver Member (entry level of Accor A Plus): Stay 1 night, earn 10 tier nights.
As an Accor Gold Member: Stay 1 night, earn 15 tier nights.
As an Accor Platinum Member: Stay 1 night, earn 20 tier nights.

As per Accor’s upgrade criteria, 60 room nights are necessary for Platinum membership. Here’s how to achieve this:
- Start by registering for the rapid upgrade event as a Silver Card member. Stay 1 night to receive 10 room night rewards. Then, stay an additional 19 nights. This totals 30 nights, allowing you to upgrade to a Gold Card.
- Next, register for the rapid upgrade event as a Gold Card member. The 30 nights from your Gold Card + 1 additional night will grant you 15 room night rewards. Stay an additional 14 nights to reach a total of 60 nights, which earns you an upgrade to the Platinum Card.
In short, register twice for the event before December 31, 2022, and you only need to actually stay 35 nights to upgrade to Platinum.
