What is Weekend Night Vouchers

Weekend night vouchers, also called “bogo vouchers”, are valid for 12 months. After becoming an Intercontinental Ambassador, this coupon will be automatically issued to the Intercontinental Ambassador’s account in the form of an electronic coupon.

You can use weekend night vouchers at more than 300 InterContinental Hotels and Resorts worldwide (excluding InterContinental Alliance resort hotels).

To utilize this, book a minimum two-night weekend stay at the “Ambassador Weekend Stay Voucher Price”. The voucher can be used on the second night, effectively giving you a free stay for one night out of the two.

How to Use Bogo Vouchers for Weekend Stays?

A weekend accommodation voucher is automatically added to your account when you purchase or renew your InterContinental Ambassador membership. Here’s how to redeem it:

1. Log in to your member account and click “Book a Reward Night” in the Intercontinental Ambassador benefits.
2. Ensure your stay includes at least two weekend nights (Friday, Saturday, or Sunday).
3. The weekend accommodation vouchers, also called “AMB vouchers”, can only be used after confirming the “InterContinental Ambassador Free Weekend Stay” room rate. Note that all displayed room rates at this point exclude discounts for the second night.

Guide to Using Weekend Night Gift Certificates

• Not all InterContinental hotels accept weekend accommodation vouchers. Look for the “InterContinental Ambassador Free Weekend Accommodation” label before making a reservation.
• Many IHG hotel suites offer ambassador weekend rates which can be covered by this gift certificate. If you’re looking to book a suite, you can essentially save US$200 on InterContinental Ambassador fees for one night with the use of the gift certificate.
• Weekend night vouchers are accepted at participating Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants and Regent Hotels & Resorts.
• If you need to cancel your booking, do so at least 48 hours prior to the check-in date to avoid a cancellation fee.
• InterContinental Ambassador Weekend Stay Certificates must be booked in advance. If you join the InterContinental Ambassador Program at a hotel, you cannot use the weekend stay voucher for that visit.
• The weekend is defined as Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, though in the Middle East, weekends may be defined as Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

• Weekends are defined asFriday, Saturday and Sunday, but restaurants in the Middle East may define weekends as Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

IHG Bogo Voucher Terms and Conditions

Weekend Stay Vouchers are redeemable within  12  months from the date of issue of the voucher and are non-extendable and only if the member has booked at least two nights at InterContinental Hotels & Resorts at the InterContinental Ambassador Weekend Stay rate When paying for a late weekend stay, you can only redeem this weekend stay once. The voucher is not valid on other room rates. 
Weekend Night Certificates can only be redeemed through the member’s  IHG® Rewards Club account. The voucher is not valid on other room rates. Reservation is required in advance. If a guest joins the InterContinental Ambassador program at a hotel, the weekend night voucher cannot be used for the same stay as when joining the program. The Weekend Night Voucher is only valid for paid bookings at the InterContinental Ambassador Weekend Night rate and is entitled to a free night on the second night, and must be booked online to use the voucher. The availability of rooms at the "InterContinental Ambassador Weekend Stay" rate is subject to hotel availability. Only one gift certificate can be used per stay. Only one weekend night voucher can be used per stay. Members may only have one open reservation associated with a Weekend Night Certificate or Weekend Night Rate at a time. If a member has multiple reservations associated with a Weekend Night Certificate, SCH  or the hotel that received the multiple reservations may cancel those reservations. 
When checking in, you must present your ID and membership number. Members must have a valid, unredeemed weekend night certificate in their  IHG® Priority Club account at check-in. If a member does not have a valid and unredeemed gift certificate in their  IHG® Rewards Club account, the hotel's best flexible rate will apply to all nights booked for that stay. 
If you need to cancel your reservation, you must follow the cancellation policy of each hotel to avoid charging fees. 
"Weekend" refers to: Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The exception is the Middle East, where hotels may define "weekends" as Thursday, Friday and Saturday. 
It can only be used by members with valid Intercontinental Ambassador membership and may not be transferred, exchanged or sold.

IHG® Priority Club Reward Nights may not be used in conjunction with weekend night certificates and may not be used in conjunction with any other promotion or free night offer.
